LABOR DAY PARADE NOTES FOR MEMBERS:

2. Ladies Aux members are to meet at 9:30 at the Admin Office in Romeo. They will be walking in the morning parade. Please dress in black pants and white blouses.
3. Members and Ladies Aux to participate in the afternoon parade. Meet at the VFW Hall no later than 12:30 and transportation will be provided. Women will ride on a float during the parade and men will walk. Black pants and white tops for all. VFW caps for the men.
4. There will also be a flag raising ceremony on Sunday at 8AM by the VFW at Capital Banquet at 31 Mile Rd and Van Dyke.
BOOKS FOR THE VETERANS HOSPITAL
Susan Berry is a GM employee that heard recently that members of the post were collecting gently used books to take to the local VA Hospital and started a collection. On May 14th she met with Carl and Lori here and contributed nine boxes of books.
